STUDENT PROGRAM
Greenspan, White hires articling students every year and summer students every summer. Our Articling Student Education Plan is attached below.
Students at Greenspan, White will article for Eddie Greenspan and Todd White. They will be supervised by Messrs Greenspan and White and the other lawyers in the firm. Students will be directly involved in preparing trials, preliminary hearings and appeals, primarily in the areas criminal and administrative law. They will become intensely involved in all aspects of the cases to which they are assigned and will attend Court with counsel on all cases in which they are involved. Students will attend on adjournments and Trial Set Dates in assignment courts in the Ontario Court of Justice across southern Ontario. They will conduct legal research, client and witness interviews and prepare trials and cross examinations on a regular basis. Each student will be provided with his or her own computer and phone system and will be able to utilize secretarial support staff. Students will be provided with a parking spot and reimbursed for all travel expenses.
Greenspan, White has an arrangement with Cassels Brock and Blackwell, LLP so that a select few of their articling students, who have an interest in criminal litigation, participate in an intensive litigation rotation at Greenspan, White as part of their articles. Students at Cassels Brock, with an interest in litigation, can elect to participate in this program. It offers students exposure to all areas of litigation via a complete litigation rotation at Cassels and an additional litigation rotation at the criminal law offices of Greenspan, White.
